First Few Weeks Onboarding

March 26, 2026

When a brand starts working with us, the first few weeks are very structured — and that's intentional.

Week one is almost entirely about foundations and context. We're getting access, reviewing the Klaviyo account properly, checking integrations, and understanding how the business actually operates. At the same time, we're sending lightly — usually to engaged segments only — so nothing goes cold while we're setting things up.

This is also when we're looking closely at list health, deliverability, and what's already working. We're not reinventing anything yet.

In weeks two and three, the focus shifts to building and stabilizing the core systems. That usually means prioritizing the welcome flow, abandoned checkout, and browse abandonment — not making them fancy, but making sure they're logically sound and doing their job.

We're also tightening segmentation, setting engagement rules, and putting guardrails in place so campaigns don't damage deliverability as volume increases.

Only after that do we start expanding. More campaigns, more nuanced segmentation, longer flows, offer testing — but always layered on top of a clean foundation.

The goal in the first few weeks isn't to chase a spike. It's to build something that won't need to be torn down three months later.
