For help with these concerns and more, I will meet you at the local animal shelter of your choice to help you through the sometimes difficult and overwhelming process of pet adoption. With over a decade of experience working hands-on with shelter animals, I will bring my expertise to your adoption. I will work with your family and the shelter staff to make your adoption is the right one, and that your experience is a positive one!

This service is designed to provide more basic advice on an adoption. Sometimes, adoptors are fairly certain about their decision, but are looking for an outside opinion just to "make sure." For example, if you "think" your current pet and the new pet are going to be ok together but just want to be sure or if you see a behavior that causes you some pause, but you just want to make sure it is not a big deal/ This service typically lasts up to an hour.

 

This service is a flat-rate per visit, as most adoptions take time. This allows you to focus on the adoption, instead of checking your watch to see how much your consult is going to be! On average, Katenna spends two hours or more helping you get to know the pet, make introductions to your other pets, and receive advice for making a smooth transition. Typically this service lasts up to two hours.
